Buffalo Skull

Buffalo skull. Part of an ongoing project to document the lives of this one family of ranchers who are trying to save the last wild horses of North Dakota. The winters there are so brutally cold and harsh and long, it's no wonder death is all around, with animals everywhere frozen stiff in the endless snow and howling winds.
