This is Anora Tukhsanova, our kick-ass production manager on our recent shoot in Abu Dhabi. What I didn’t realize until we got on set was that Anora is also an expert Muay Thai kickboxer, and can, in fact, kick your ass as well. She’s all of 100 pounds and barely 5-feet tall, but you do not want to mess with this girl, I kid you not. Inside that cute little frame of hers is the heart of a warrior. I love women like this - who are both beautiful and fierce

Anora is quick with a smile, but as I learned, she’s quick with her feet and her hands as well. No joke. She could kick my butt from here to Kiev in a blink of an eye if she wanted to. This is one of my favorite photographs of her, resting after a flurry of blindingly fast kicks. I felt sorry for the punching bag.
