Gift From The Gods

This is one of my favorite images from our sailing shoot out of Abu Dhabi. I love it because it was a completely unexpected shot. I was waiting for the crew to unfurl the sail on this traditional Arab dhow, and shot off a few frames just to make sure my exposures were correct. I wasn’t paying attention at all to what I was shooting. It wasn’t until I got back home and was going through the images that I came across this frame. It felt like a tiny gift from the gods. It made my day.
